St.Georges C.C. has for many years promoted the development of junior players. Today, the majority of our senior players had their first introduction to cricket in our junior section. The club was one of the very first in England to achieve ECB Clubmark accreditation. To qualify the club has to demonstrate that it can provide a safe environment for the enjoyment of cricket for young players. We have suitably qualified coaches to help children acquire and develop their cricketing skills. Children are eligible to join as junior members from School Year 1 upwards. We have an established girls section which fields teams in competitive matches. We currently run teams at Under 10 through to Under 15 age groups. We also encourage our young players to graduate into our senior teams who play on Saturdays, Sundays and midweek. There will be no registration evening this season, due to the current Covid restrictions. Parents of existing members will be sent a registration pack. To make the task a little easier for you, we have populated the form with the information you gave us last year, so you only need to make any relevant corrections. Please try and write email addresses and telephone numbers neatly , as these don’t work unless they are exactly right! Potential new members can also download a copy of the registration pack by clicking below:

Whilst we will do our best to help every junior player to develop his skills and ability, we will not lose sight of the most important

aspect of junior cricket – that it is fun!
