It’s nearing the end of the cricket season and Dom Musgrove 4th Team Captain has been taking his training up a level with close friend Chris Kilpatrick to take four of the most dangerous assault courses starting on Saturday 21 September at Tough Mudder.  Queens of Mud is their team name; they’re looking to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK.

These challenges will push their bodies to the limit, they will have to cross rough terrain mud pits, fire pits, sub zero temperatures and many more obstacles for 12 miles.

Dom wants to complete this challenge in honour of his close friend, coach and Committee member of the club Jim Heath who sadly lost his battle to Cancer last year.  Jim fought his battle with the disease quietly and with dignity focusing his energy on coaching and managing the junior side through the age groups with Dom achieving much success.

Over the last couple of weeks Dom and Chris have been interviewed for the Shropshire Star, Telford Journal and this week on Radio Shropshire!  Doing what they can to raise their profile and get as much publicity about the challenges and fundraising in the run up to their first race!

To mark the start of the challenges, the pair will be running Telford Park Run (a weekly 5k run) in Pink Morph suits on Saturday 14 September, The run is based at Telford Town Park, please come along to support them.
