In Week 17 the 1st team were put in at relegation battlers Cound. Chris Miller’s 125 together with good contributions from the other batsmen got the St.Georges total up to 321/9 before Ben Byram(6/64) and Neil Davies(3/29)  ripped into the Cound batting to bowl them out for 130. The 2nd XI again found themselves short of players and were bowled out for 174 against Cound 2nds, after Sean Parkes  and Avi Mathur had made a decent start. Cound got three extra overs to get the runs, and they won in the 52nd over. At Shrewsbury the 3rd XI bowled out the hosts for 112 with Chris Cousins taking 6/40 and Kev Myatt 4/12. The reply was straightforward with Alex Dillon, Joe Gregory and Allan Myatt getting the runs comfortably. An extremely young (with a couple of exceptions) 4th XI could not prevent Grove from rattling up 300/4. In reply St.Georges managed 155/8 for a draw with the star performer being Rachel Chesters with a very assured 47.
