In week 2 the 1st XI put Reman in to bat, and removed both openers early. After a rain break the innings was dominate by Craig Heath who score 123. He was supported by Phil Caudle (49). Paul Smart eventually removed Heath but the partnership took Reman to a formidable 280/6 dec. In reply St.Georges were never really up with the run rate and had to settle for a draw, finishing on 134/7. Over at Reman the 2nd XI were put in and made 326/3 before declaring after 41 overs. Dave Whibley Law hit 171 and promising 16 year old Sam Morgan finished on 106 no.

Reman were bowled out for 149 but we needed the extra overs gained by the declaration to do it, as John Ashton (77) provided stubborn resistance. Luke James finished with figures of 4/13. In a match interrupted by a hailstorm the 3rd XI found themselves chasing 154 against Shifnal at Blymhill, despite excellent bowling figures by 16 year old Joe Gaut (4/16 from 8 overs). 62 by old campaigner Kevin Humphreys and 48 from Russell Morris proved enough as St.Georges had to settle for 104/8 and the losing draw. The 4th XI will be disappointed after a quick 50 from Ryan Forrester got them off to a flying start to their target of 192. However the innings crumbled as batsmen got themselves out, and although young Joe Gregory (50) batted very well to steady the ship, it was not enough and we were 19 runs short at the end. The Sunday XI had a big win at Woore with tons for Mike Myatt and another up and coming youngster, Alex Dillon.
